Corrugated Cardboard Production Line (3/5/7 Layer)

A corrugated cardboard production line, often called a corrugator, is a continuous operation line that transforms rolls of base paper into corrugated cardboard sheets. The process includes feeding raw paper, preheating, corrugating, gluing, bonding, trimming, slitting, cutting to length, and final stacking. For example, a single-face corrugated cardboard line typically consists of a roll stand, a single-facer unit, and a rotary cutter.
Using base paper and potato or corn starch-based adhesive, it produces continuous single-face corrugated board that can be cut into sheets of the required specifications. These sheets require no further drying and can be combined with a gluing or laminating unit to create three-ply (single wall), five-ply (double wall), or seven-ply (triple wall) corrugated cardboard.
